Solid Rock provides believers with many opportunities to fulfill the will of God in their lives. What ministry is God calling you to? Where do your talents fit best?
Altar Workers assist in the salvation process by praying with people who are repenting. Provide encouragement and instruction to those who are being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ as well as instruction and counsel for those who desire to be filled with the Holy Ghost.
In the age of fast changing technology, this ministry facilitates sound during services as well as digital visual aids to help guests and members to participate in the service during worship, sermons, and special presentations. We also enrich lives by providing CD's for sale of sermons that touched your life.
The first impression of the church is a visual one that begins when guests arrive on the grounds. Before the first word is spoken, a message is being sent. Indoor and Outdoor Building Maintenance is in place to make sure that message is positive. This ministry is responsible for the general care and upkeep of the building and grounds. This includes maintenance of the building, care of the parking lot, and landscaping of the grounds.

Solid Rock Children's Ministry vision is to enable families, children and teens to have an opportunity to know the love of God through strong Biblical relationships. Christian Education, Urban Outreach, Children's Choir, Children's Church and entertaining events will help in Solid Rock's goal to exalt, edify, equip and evangelize our community. Children's World gives those who desire to work with children a fertile ground. Team Leaders are responsible for all aspects of their classes. They prepare age appropriate lessons and have a class schedule which includes singing, games, bible lessons, prayer, activities, crafts and snacks. Children's Church is a Church strictly for children from ages 4 - 11. There are two sections:
1) Kinderchurch: Ages 4 - 6 and
2) Superchurch: Ages 7- 11.
The focus of Christian Education is to develop mature Christians by identifying God-given gifts and talents, providing focused training and opportunities to grow in ministry, establishing themselves and others in Apostolic doctrine, and influencing their world through study, memorization, and application of the Word of God.
From the front door to the pew to service unto the Lord. Our commission is to nurture, embrace, and welcome new members; to provide effective, professional, quality information and resources to the new member; and assist them in becoming "planted" into the church body. The foundation of the word of God is essential as well as active involvement in the body of Christ.
The purpose of GoldFire Youth Ministry is to provide opportunities for salvation, discipleship, evangelism, leadership, relationship, and recreation for metro Atlanta youth and young adults. Our target audience is youth and young adults ages 12-25 of all racial, ethnic, social, economic, and educational backgrounds. The Benefits of participating in GoldFire Youth Ministry include an alternative way of living (abundant life - John 10:10) for those whose lives are heading down a wrong or destructive path. Connecting with the power of Jesus Christ through prayer, worship, and bible studies on a level relevant to current youth culture. Opportunities to serve as leaders in youth ministry and other Solid Rock church ministries Fun activities and events in safe, friendly environments that encourage making friends and building lasting relationships with other youth and adults.

Hostesses are among the first contacts a guest will make when entering Solid Rock. Members of this Guest Services Team strive to create an atmosphere of genuine love, concern, and care while establishing a positive relationship with guests. Hostesses acquire the name, address, and phone number of each guest, which will be used by the Visitor Follow-Up ministry. Creating a positive first impression, hostesses greet guests, help adults and children locate their classes, and connect guests with family or friends. The Hostess Department works in conjunction with the Usher Department to seat guests and attend to any special needs.
The usher ministry serves as doorkeepers during all services and special events. Ushers seek to impact every guest with love and efficiency by: warmly welcoming each guest with outstretched hand and a smile; seating each guest in a comfortable, accessible seat. Maintaining order and orchestrating movement during services is important, thus establishing the usher as a "watchman on the wall." It is also the goal of each member of the team to maintain hospitable dignity in responding to the needs of the guests.
Affecting the lives of the Hispanic Community in the Atlanta area is our focus. Solid Rock Church is a Multicultural congregation and our desire is to reach out to the Hispanic population and create an atmosphere where they can feel comfortable in our services. We provide simultaneous translation in every service. Also, we integrate our services with praise and worship songs in Spanish. We have established the North Campus in Norcross and small group works across the city.
Home Bible Studies consist of lesson plans on the Bible from the book of Genesis to Revelations. The Lord told us to go and make disciple of all nations. How rich and refreshing it is to a soul whose thirst is quenched by prayerful instruction of the Word of God. There are various Bible Studies available for Men, Women, Youth, prophecy, multiple weeks, or a single session.

Prayer support, comfort, cards submissions, and visitations are provided for guests and members who are hospitalized. We also prepare food for special occasions. We want persons to feel welcome persons in the love and Spirit of Jesus Christ.
The purpose of this ministry is to equip and develop leaders that will bless all areas of your life: Your family, your ministry, and your career. Level 3 leadership will challenge you to grow personally as a leader and to influence other leaders. You will develop vision, leadership skills, influence, and live a higher standard.
The Men's Ministry's vision is to equip 500 men to be leaders in their homes, the church, and their communities. This consists of men's fellowship and activities, mentorship through of Joshua's Men and Men's Mentoring Group.
Everyone can spread the Gospel to those with whom they come in contact, but missionaries have taken the commandment to "go" to the next level. The purpose of World Missions is to support all missionaries through a number of activities and services. Missions is made up of several ministries, including Sheaves for Christ, Christmas for Christ, Partners in Missions (PIM), youth on Missions.

God has entrusted to our Pastor one of the most precious of assignments - the spiritual well-being of His flock. When a pastor becomes ineffective, the very souls of the flock are endangered. When eternity is in the balance, we should all be concerned. Pastors and their families live under incredible pressures. They are expected to have ideal families, to be perfect people, to always be available, to never be down and to have all the answers we need to keep our own lives stable and moving forward. This ministry focuses on pastoral assistance, prayer, fasting, research, remembrance of birthdays, anniversaries, and an annual banquet in honor of celebration of ministerial accomplishments.
There is no more vital ministry than the ministry of prayer. There are many vehicles of prayer such as Corporate prayer every 1st Friday night, Tuesday night corporate prayer, early morning Men's prayer on Tuesdays, Daughter's of Zion, and pre service prayer.
Singles Ministry mission is to effectively educate, motivate and stimulate today's single body of believers to further know the Lord Jesus Christ and to experience His everlasting love, wholeness, liberty and divine purpose in this life.
Connection. Souls. The small group leader has no more than 15 - 20 people in the home at any given time. The purpose of this ministry is connect with your community and local saints for a time of fellowship and study of the Word. How rewarding it will be when Jesus says "when I was a stranger, you took me in."

This ministry provides transportation for community kids via bus and guests for our Sunday morning service within a 15 minute radius of the church. We serve the people of God in the most courteous and professional manner. Our desire is that all who desire to come to the house of God, can.
We also pray and give guidance to those requesting it. This ministry is essential in bringing Christ to the person.
The Oasis Women's Ministry serves to incite, revitalize, and equip women. This ministry is always looking for ways to guide women toward their God-given purpose. Also, it encourages women to pursue purposeful relationships and inspires them to focus upwardly, inwardly, and outwardly in order to unlock the potential within them and become women of influence. Through this ministry, women discover the power of embracing God's unique vision and calling for their lives. This ministry strives to equip women to pursue purposeful, vibrant relationships that will dynamically impact the way they live their lives and are a part of this church community. Women are challenged and empowered to actively and intentionally pursue purposeful relationships that will impact eternity. Ultimately, we seek to make a dramatic difference in the lives of the women of this congregation and community by encouraging them to:
- Devote their hearts to seeking God's thoughts, purposes, and desires
- Strengthen current relationships with husbands, children, family, and friends
- Pursue purposeful friendships that offer lasting benefits
- Enjoy continued encouragement from the women with whom thy will laugh, learn and worship
Each woman has the ability to make a significant difference through her purposeful relationship with God, with family, with friends.
